Where is Chester County, South Carolina

Chester County is situated approximately 30 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina and 45 miles north of Columbia, South Carolina. The County rests midway between the metropolitan areas of Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.; Columbia, S.C.; and Charlotte, N.C.

Interstate 77 runs north-south through eastern Chester County and provides excellent transportation routes for businesses and residents alike. Interstate 85 intersects with I-77 45 miles north of Chester in Charlotte; Interstate 40 is less than a 1-hour drive; Interstate 26 intersects with I-77 some 60 miles to the south in Columbia; Interstate 20 intersects with I-77 40 miles to the south in Columbia and there are several four-lane divided highways and U.S. Highways in the County providing an excellent transportation network.
